Time on the boat.

Time on the boat.

He walked down to the lake. The sky was clear and the water undisturbed. Every star reflected on the water.

He looked at the small boar on the shore and sat on it. Suddenly from the water, one of the reflections stood up.

Fully formed with a human body it started walking toward the boat. Then another and another.

He watched from the boat not moving a muscle, but not scared.

The first star reached out a hand and he shook it. He was going to be needed on the job.

The star laid his body on the boat gently in a comfortable position as the other two moved in closer.

Grabbing the same hand they shook, the star pulled him out of his body. Shining like the stars around him he stood beside them looking down at his body.

The first star pointed and he moved right behind his head.  One of the stars pulled out a yellow light cable from its chest and plugged it on his heart.

Then the star pulled another light cable and gently put it behind his head at the end of the neck.

He looked at the star and understood it was time to begin. With one hand he touched the top of his head and it glowed bright yellow his whole body started to glow connecting the other two stars.

Everything glowed except for a piece on the left side of the head, he reached inside to try to grab it but before he could, the first star stood behind him and took the space where he was standing.

Glowing with the light of the star he reached inside and grabbed the black spot, it burned red, then orange and then it was dust.

He took the hand out and blew it into the wind.

Finally from where he stood the first star started to suck out the remnants of the spot.

As it did the other two stars went into his body through the light cable. The star walked away from where it stood with a dark circle in the middle of its stomach.

He still glowed bright yellow as he stood over his head. The star took the spot with it as it started to walk back to the water.

He saw as the star started to wash it with the water of the lake and go back to the reflection. When the last drop of light was back in the water he went back to his body.

When he opened his eyes his body was sore but there was no heaviness in his head.

He could feel the stars inside him and see the star watching over him healing with light from the sky.
