Seven secrets

Seven secrets

It was a real night on the field. He parked his car on the side of the road and lay on the roof.

There was a star way brighter than the others, the legend told that one was a god trapped in the sky.

The god was to spend a million nights or be given seven secrets. Untold by the god and forever forgotten by whoever gave them.

He thought about a secret and for a second the star seemed to shine brighter. The radio in the car turned on and started changing stations.

The songs told him he had a wish in exchange for the secret. The god trapped in the star had a reputation to be a trickster.

For a second he sat up and got off the roof of the car. Passing back and forth as he looked up he said "fame and fortune" to the star.

A wave of light dimmed the rest of the stars around the trapped one then the radio turned back on.

The music, not impressed by the wish, told him it was granted. then the vibe of the music changed and told him he had made two wishes and there was a pending bill for the second one.

He kept looking up at the star, a bit nervous but excited thinking about the luck he finally found the right star.

The light of the stars kept dimming until the last light to go was the star.

Almost as a joke, the radio said the depth was settled and that he would have it but he wouldn't be able to see it and then it turned off.

He put his weight on the car, still looking up at the star not being able to see it. He ran his hand over his eyes to make sure the eyelids were open and they were.

The noise of feelings intensified until they quieted and he was left with nothing to express.

With his hands, he found the door handle and sat in the passenger seat trying to understand what just happened.

With his eyes wide open he kept moving his hand in front of them and closing the eyelids with his fingertips without any change.

With a hand on the window, he screamed as the radio turned on and played a happy song
