Planting a constellation

Planting a constellation

He put a finger on the surface and watched the perfect stillness of the lake be moved by the ripples created.

The boat, hanging backwards in the night sky was impossible to see from below. He moved forward slowly and started to plant another star.

Moving forward a bit more he started to water a half-grown constellation and then from there he started to pluck the stars from a full-grown galaxy.

He took the star and opened it to take the seed out and put them in a tin can inside the boat.

Rowing slowly he planted, watered and plucked the stars in the garden of the night sky as the sun showed up to feed them with light in the day.
